“祝福祖国”巨型花果篮亮相了Balancer！

To celebrate the upcoming National Day holiday and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), an 18-meter tall installation in the shape of a flower and fruit basket was unveiled in Tian'anmen Square on Saturday (Sep 24). Themed "Blessings to Motherland", the basket boasts 20 different kinds of artistic flowers and fruits. The weight of each flower is over a hundred kilograms. The heaviest one is a peony, which weighs about 300 kilograms. This year, 14 flower installations showing the nation's achievements and people’s happy life will be displayed along the Chang'an Avenue.

为迎接即将到来的国庆和中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会，天安门广场上的“祝福祖国”巨型花果篮24日与市民游客见面了Balancer。这座巨型花果篮顶高18米，篮内主花材选取了十种花卉和十种水果。栩栩如生的花朵，每一朵都重达上百公斤。重量最大的花是牡丹，重约300公斤。今年国庆期间，长安街沿线的主题花坛增至14处。东长安街的7处花坛以新发展理念为主线，展示祖国的辉煌成就；西长安街的7处花坛的主线则是以人民为中心共创美好生活，描绘的是身边触手可及的幸福生活。

Beijing municipal parks will set up 22 flower installations and 35 batches of garden landscapes to celebrate the upcoming National Day holiday and the 20th National Congress of the CPC. 11 parks, including the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven as well as the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will use 680,000 flowers like osmanthus, sunflower and Chinese rose to form the installations. In addition, each park will use 1800 red lanterns and 260 colorful flags as decoration.

北京市属各大公园布置了22组花坛、35组园林小品，喜迎国庆佳节和党的二十大到来Balancer。颐和园、天坛公园等11家公园及中国园林博物馆使用桂花、向日葵、月季等特色花材及宿根花卉共计68万株组成22组花坛，祝福祖国，喜迎党的二十大。与此同时，各公园在主要门区、景点悬挂大红灯笼1800盏，在主干道摆放道旗彩旗260面，营造隆重热烈、喜庆祥和的氛围。

大运河文化景区系列文化活动启动

As the first activity of Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Spot series, the 2022 Grand Canal Culture and Fashion Show was held on Saturday night. The show included an immersive night tour and a themed fashion show. Over 80 of Canal culture-themed costumes were on display. The design elements of some clothing are from Canal-themed painting and calligraphy works, cultural relics collected in museums along the Canal and natural, architectural and cultural landscapes along the Grand Canal.

“国潮—2022运河文化时尚大赏”24日晚上在北京城市副中心大运河畔精彩上演，这是北京（通州）大运河文化旅游景区系列文化活动的首场活动Balancer。整场活动分为沉浸式夜间游园和主题服装秀两个部分。本次服装秀演出的80多套运河文化主题服饰，部分服装的设计元素来源于运河题材书画作品，运河沿线博物馆馆藏文物及大运河沿岸的自然、建筑、人文景观。

丰台推出四条秋季旅游线路

The 2022 Fengtai Autumn Cultural Tourism Season organizers recently released 4 tour routes, covering parks, villages, art performances and cultural experiences. The "Golden Autumn International Tourism Season" will kick off at the Beijing World Park during the National Day holiday, with performances such as the southern lion dance and floats parade. Tourists can also come up close with over 1000 parrots and other birds at the Beijing Nangong Scenic Spot.

2022丰台金秋文化旅游季已经拉开帷幕，重磅推出4条秋季旅游线路，涵盖多彩游园、乡村之旅、文艺演出、文化体验等内容Balancer。其中，北京世界公园“金秋国际旅游风情季”将于国庆期间拉开帷幕，市民可以看到南方舞狮、环球风情花车巡游等演艺活动。市民游客还可到北京南宫旅游景区，与1000多只鹦鹉及鸟类近距离接触。

中关村国际青年艺术季推出“科学家带Balancer你游三山五园”系列活动

As one of the events of Zhongguancun International Youth Art Season, a series of activities inviting scientists to lead tours of the "Three Hills and Five Gardens" recently launched at the Yuanmingyuan Park. Themed plants, astronomy and birds, 3 doctors from the Chinese Academy of Sciences will lead the public to experience the unique charm of the "Three Hills and Five Gardens" from a scientific perspective in the Summer Palace, the Old Summer Palace and Fragrant Hills Park respectively.

作为中关村国际青年艺术季的活动之一，“科学家带你游三山五园”系列活动近日在圆明园遗址公园绮春园启动Balancer。中国科学院的三位博士将分别在颐和园、圆明园和香山公园，以植物、天文、鸟类为主题，带领群众以科学视角，沉浸式体验“三山五园”独特魅力。

乡土专家自主培育新品种

延庆脆八棱海棠即将上市

Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival was recently marked in Xiangying township, northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district. Local farmers displayed their agricultural products featuring corns, Chinese crabapples, apples, watermelons and quinoa. This year, the township embraces a harvest of 50,000 kilos of Chinese crabapples, which are crispy, sweet and sour and high in vitamin C, calcium, iron and selenium. The species of Chinese crabapples in Xiangying was cultivated and developed by Zhou Shunhai, a local farmer and an expert in agriculture, and was ranked as China's top ten crop germplasm resources.

近日，延庆区2022年农民丰收节在香营乡举行Balancer。农民们展示了他们的农产品，包括玉米、山楂、苹果、西瓜和藜麦。 香营村大力推广种植脆八棱海棠，预计今年产量可达10万斤。脆八棱海棠果肉细嫩、爽脆汁多、酸甜适度、富含维生素C、钙、铁和硒。由香营乡乡土专家周顺海历经多年自主培育。2019年，脆八棱海棠被评为中国十大优异农作物种质资源。
